Purpose and Mission

Purpose

Founded in 1989, the One Delta Plaza Educational Center (ODPEC) serves the needs of the local community through targeted programming and community engagement. It is the leading philanthropic force responsible for the ownership, operation and maintenance of One Delta Plaza Educational Center, Inc.

Mission

The central objective of ODPEC is to promote and fund programs that nurture and guide future community leaders, encourage and assist current community leaders, and remember and honor historic community leaders. ODPEC uses and leverages its financial resources to educate Greater Houston about its past, present and future and identify opportunities for growth and achievement.

ODPEC is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization under the 501(c)3 section of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States of America. It is the owner and operator of the building at 3333 Old Spanish Trail, Houston, Texas 77021.
