OCTOBER
ODPEC will present Teacher Care Packages to Thompson Elementary School on October 7, 2020. Thompson Elementary is a local school near ODPEC’s physical address. Donations will be packaged for faculty and staff prior to arrival on campus. This delivery is scheduled for October 5, 2020. Suggested items include: hand sanitizers, masks, pencils, Kleenex, paper towels, sanitary wipes, etc. You may contact ODPEC by email at community-programs@odpec.org or vice-chair@odpec.org to donate items.
NOVEMBER
A community activity supporting Houston City Council District D is being planned and organized. More information is forthcoming.
ODPEC will assist with Feeding the Homeless at George R. Brown Convention Center. The date will be announced.
Virtual Activities via Zoom will follow the former model with focus on activities geared towards seniors, youth, and general audiences. These will be announced.
DECEMBER
“Warming Up December” ODPEC will focus on working with area churches to provide two coats and/or jackets to benefit children of Thompson Elementary School. The school will choose the recipients.
